Fitjitsu

 

FITJITSU is a fun and exciting, new workout designed by 9 year Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner Spencer Scrivner. FITJITSU is a fantastic cardiovascular fitness workout based upon Brazilian Jiu Jitsu drills, movements and submissions. The movements are taught and repeated in a sequence that teaches someone how to defend themselves from a possible attacker. The added benefits are a cardiovascular and full body workout that tones muscles, decreases fat, increases flexibility and improves endurance and stamina. In addition to these great physical attributes, FITJITSU also increases individual confidence, self esteem and self empowerment.

The submissions are many of the submissions that are used in today’s sport of Mixed Martial Arts and can be seen at local level contests up to the highest level MMA productions. The workout is for beginner to advanced fitness levels and no martial arts knowledge or experience is required. It is a great workout for couples and allows each partner to help the other learn the techniques as well as help motivate the other, while learning how to defend yourself against an attacker.

Brazlian Jiu Jitsu is a martial art that is based upon using leverage and technique, not strength. Because of that, it allows a smaller person to defeat a larger attacker or opponent. FITJITSU workouts are around 20 minutes for each partner. Boredom is a challenge with any workout routine, but with Fitjitsu, the workout can be changed every workout if desired, yet still be effective and challenging. The intensity can be as low or as high as each person prefers depending upon their personal goals and needs.

$20 / class
